:  any of several arteries that arise from the internal iliac artery or one of its branches and that supply the urinary bladder and adjacent parts: as a :  any of several arteries that arise from the umbilical artery and supply the upper part of the bladder—called also superior vesical, superior vesical artery b :  one that arises from the internal iliac artery or the internal pudendal artery and that supplies the bladder, prostate, and seminal vesicles—called also inferior vesical, inferior vesical artery
